What is your minimum order?

There is no minimum order.

Do you Charge delivery or packing costs

On orders under£1000.00 delivery is charged at £50.00. minimum

If a charge is applicable it will be shown on  your quotation.

Packaging is always included within the unit rate.

What is the duration of your maintenance contracts

Generally  we offer a 16 or 18 week maintenace contract.  Should you wish longer or shorter maintenance periods we will be pleased to provide a quote.

What is the minimum quantity of City sand?

The minimum is 5-6 cubic metres of tree soil for a small tree such as Sorbus.

To calculate the volume fo soil you need there is a rule of thumb calculation.

desired square meterage of the crown divided by a factor of 4.

i.e.
Cown size is 5x5m = 25/4 = 6.25m3 per tree

How do I convert citysand in m3 to tons

 

To convert citysand from a cubic metre quantity multiply by 1.6.

To convert from tons to ntre cube divide by 1.6

Do you use your own Transport

 
Where possible we use our own vehicles. However during peak period we use haulage contractors who are experienced in handling our products.

For smaller order it is more economical to use Pallex or ther similar courier companies
